Zambia is undoubtedly one of Africa's best kept secrets... still far off the beaten tourist track, the parks of this country offer vast wilderness and wildlife experiences that easily rival the most popular safari destinations - without the clamour of crowds.

One of the country's wilderness hotspots is South Luangwa National Park, an area of 9050 sq kms of pristine wilderness located at the southern end of the Great Rift Valley. Flanked by the escarpment to the West and the snaking Luangwa River to the East, this park still dances to the rhythm of wild Africa: the array of bird life alone is astounding, with over 400 species recorded in the park!  A wealth of game and scenic beauty combined where large herds of elephant and buffalo roam, amidst giraffe, zebra and antelope, while in the river, hippos snort and laugh. Complete with the full compliment of predators, Luangwa Valley also boasts one of the highest densities of leopard in Africa.

Return To Africa provides the opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of this park without compromising comfort or service. With groups no larger than 8, you will be treated to an exclusive safari experience, at a luxury lodge and exclusive bush-camps with the greatest attention given to detail.
